Holistic Pelvic Floor Connection & Care

Reconnect. Soften. Return.

A six-week guided practice to reconnect with your pelvic floor through breath, awareness and the art of letting go.

Your pelvic floor is more than a group of muscles to strengthen. It is part of the living, breathing system that supports you through movement, pressure, everyday demands and the changes of life.

Yet many of us have learned to push through, hold on, brace ourselves and keep going — often without noticing what our bodies are doing along the way.

This six-week practice invites you to slow down, turn your attention inward and get to know your pelvic floor from a different perspective.

Not through more effort, but through awareness, breath and connection.

What if your pelvic floor needs more than strengthening?

We often hear that a healthy pelvic floor means having strong muscles. Strength matters, but so do coordination, flexibility and the ability to relax when needed.

Stress and perceived threat can influence muscle activity and our patterns of holding tension. For some women, this may be part of a wider picture of pelvic discomfort, difficulty relaxing or changes in pelvic floor function.

Learning to notice these patterns is a useful place to begin.

Rather than asking your body to do more, we begin by listening.

Your 6-week journey

01 — RECOGNIZE

Notice what you hold.

Begin to understand your pelvic floor and its role in your body. Develop awareness of your breathing, habitual tension and the ways everyday stress may show up physically.

02 — RECONNECT

Find your way back through breath.

Explore gentle breathing practices and body awareness to build a clearer connection with your pelvic floor, diaphragm and surrounding body.

03 — REBALANCE

Discover the difference between holding and releasing.

Practise noticing unnecessary bracing and allowing the pelvic floor to soften when appropriate. Explore ease, movement and the relationship between breath and pelvic floor response.

04 — RETURN

Bring your awareness into everyday life.

Create simple practices you can return to throughout your day — when you are working, resting, moving or navigating life's demands.

The aim is not to stay relaxed all the time. It is to become more aware, more responsive and better able to recognise what your body needs.

What we'll explore together

  • Understanding your pelvic floor and how it works with your breath.

  • Recognising patterns of tension, holding and bracing.

  • Gentle breathwork and embodied awareness practices.

  • Exploring pelvic floor relaxation without forcing or pushing.

  • Developing a more compassionate, connected relationship with your body.

  • Building a simple practice you can carry into everyday life.

Who is this for?

This practice is for women who want to understand their pelvic floor beyond the usual message to squeeze, strengthen and do more.

Perhaps you notice that you hold tension without realising it. Perhaps you find it difficult to soften, slow down or fully exhale. Or perhaps you simply want to understand your body better and feel more connected to yourself.

You don't need to have a specific pelvic floor concern to begin. Curiosity and a willingness to slow down are enough.

A different kind of practice

There is nothing to perform and nothing to get perfect.

You will be guided to pay attention, experiment gently and discover what you notice. Your experience is your own, and you remain in charge of your pace and boundaries throughout.

This is not about fixing your body. It is about learning to listen to it.

Return to your body. Return to yourself.

Pelvic floor awareness is one part of a bigger relationship with yourself — one that includes recognising stress, responding to your needs and creating more space for recovery.

Because resilience isn't only about how much you can carry.

It's also about learning when to soften, when to respond and how to return to yourself.
